Lands of Enchantment, Series III

At 3.5” tall x 5.5” wide, the book brings the postcards back down to scale. The book contains every [horizontal] diorama from the first and second series, the small and the large.Printed in limited edition, it serves as an exhibition catalogue, and collectable art object in its own right. In experience, as each page is turned, the reader peels back the stark layers of text to access that venerating image of a bygone era; the familiar face of a touristy postcard. But the echo of words transcribed remain, requiring viewers to re-consider idols.
